JB Hot Wheels
The horse I have had the most success in the show ring.
I purchased JB as an older horse with a ton of National Titles
as both a Country English Pleasure riding and driving horse. I enjoyed a Region 16 Championship with him as a select rider.
CFA Mandaazi
(Imperial Baarez x Imperial Pharasha) 2004 Gray Stallion
Daazi is still with me and will be for as long as the good Lord
will allow. I purchased Daazi from Buddy Salisbury at the young age of 2-sight unseen! Steve Dady delivered him to the Fingerlakes
Arabian Horse Show in 2006. His father Imperial Baarez was also on that trailer! Baarez was on his way to El Farida Stud in Cairo,
Egypt.
Imperial Stud had closed its doors and he was syndicated.
I had never shown a stallion in halter, much less one that was as
spirited as Daazi. I thought I was going to die and my good friend, Randy Stoneback, was laughing, as only he could, while he shook
a can full of rocks at him on my way into the ring.
It was rare, even then, to see a woman in a stallion halter class, much less one
that had no clue!
I survived and he qualified for Region 16 Championships. He went on to be Reserve Champion at Regionals that year.
By then, I was remarried and had year old triplets. Showing was going to have to go on the back burner and so it did.
I brought Daazi
back out in 2014 to be trained to ride. He was 10 and everyone said it would not be possible.
He made a lovely hunter horse, sport
horse and now a western horse along with an amazing halter career.
We have only bred him a handful of times and have sold all of his
babies to happy customers.
Our goal this year is to make our very own Daazi baby to keep.
ARABIANS
This is the mare that started it all!
A.S.A. Mystify Me
(High Mystic x Aeolian Darshan).
I purchased her from Jimmy Hudson in Delaware
and then great friends,
Sherry and Larry Crow, taught me how to clip and show her in halter and eventually in Western Pleasure.
I
bred her one time and had a gorgeous gelding pictured here on this page, CFA Bhahareem.
CFA Bhahareem
(A.S.A. Mystic x VA Nadeem)
Bhaha was my forever heart horse. He had a tragic accident at the age of 9 and we had to
have him put down.
I was heart broken and thought I would never go to the barn again.
When he was showing he excelled in Halter, Liberty
and Western Pleasure.
He was famous for finishing his Liberty class by standing in center ring and delivering a huge snort as only
Arabians can do, as if to say "there-I'm finished!"
He is pictured here during a liberty class competing to "Grease Lightning".
Spring Challenge
my first stallion that Oma Hodges entrusted me with.
He was a beautiful and gentle and so happy to go back into training
with Nancy Waite.
We competed together a few times in Country and Native Costume and my love of saddleseat was undeniable. Alas, he
was too old to compete at a higher level, but I sure did enjoy him for the short time that I had him.
